Caught Borat (and Happy Feet) today with blu_frenchfries at Eastwood. Suffice it to say that 95% of the audience for Borat were male, and 95% of the audience for Happy Feet was female.

One of the things that's always bothered me about Manila was the lack of things to do, besides the run-of-the-mill malling-coffeshop-bar routine.  For example, we don't have any watersports or nature parks within the metropolis (I have friends who dragonboat on Pasig, but that's not an activity for the faint-hearted).  The lack of diversity is one ( Read more... )

I had my midterms for my Globalization class today.  It's been awhile since I've done a real exam.  My hand feels like it wants to fall off after all that writing.

Never been much of a fan of this show.  Not when it was just a couple of people trotting around the globe, and definitely not when it was a bunch of American families running all over the United States.  I've just never been fond of reality TV in all its forms, award-winning or not.
